Cirrus Training Center
Cirrus Transition Training Courses are organized to familiarize Cirrus pilots with Cirrus aircraft, its advanced systems
and avionics. The course provides thorough training appropriate to either the Cirrus SR-20 or SR-22. Consisting
of both ground and flight lessons, the training will prepare you to navigate the skies as well as dealing with system failures.
Upon completion, a transition training certificate will be issued, meeting the requirements for most insurance
company's training requirements. (Be sure to check with your insurance company to ensure applicability.)
Course Schedule
The Cirrus Transition Training Course consists of eight lessons. The length of time to complete
the eight lessons is dependent upon the experience of the individual
pilot. The anticipated time requirements are outlined in the table below.

Be sure to have the following items purchased and/or completed prior to arriving at Wells for the training:
- Training Schedule We urge you to schedule in advance the recommended number of training days as it
relates to your experience level. Please use the guidelines above to determine your the expected number of days
for your particular situation. Feel free to call in advance to discuss your training options and plans. (Additional training days
may be required as recommended per your CSIP instructor or insurance requirements.)
- Pilot Profile Please print and complete the Wells Aircraft pilot profile.
- Cirrus Training Agreement Please print and complete the Cirrus Training Agreement.
- Transition Training Kit includes worksheets, checklist, training manual and appropriate Cirrus POH.
Providing Wells Aircraft with the above information will help ensure your training begins as scheduled
and is a positive and educational experience for you.
